MFFD , January 11

At approximately 14:00 hours crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of Topsail Road. Engine 643 arrived on scene to find a grass fire that had spread to a small outbuilding. Crews were able to get a quick knock down with minor damage to the structure. Traffic Accident w/ DBL Pin In

MFFD, January 03

At approximately 18:30 hours crews were dispatched to a reported traffic accident with double pin in. Engine 643 arrived on scene of a two vehicle head on collision. Engine 643 confirmed a double pin in and requested Spencer Engine 751 for manpower. Crews pulled a 1 3/4" protection line, begin stabilizing both vehicles, and then begin extrication. Crews responded to the 77000 block of I 85 for a reported car fire. Crews arrived on scene to find a tractor trailer cab fully involved. Initial crews made a quick knock down on the fire. The scene was turned over to SHP and all units cleared the scene.... (Full Story & Photos)
