Emergency Crews on Scene of possible Drowning

Emergency crews look for possible downed plane

MFFD, June 07

Emergency crews from several different agencies filled the parking lot at the Rushco on Long Ferry Road just off Interstate 85 on Tuesday night just after 9:00 pm to being a search for a possible downed plane.

Three callers reported seeing a low flying plane in an area northeast of the I-85, Long Ferry Road intersection.

M/A Structure Fire

MFFD , May 30

At approximately 10:30 AM crews were dispatched to assist Franklin FD on a mutual aid structure fire in the 200 block of Lariat Cir. Engine 643 arrived on the scene and reported to command. Crews were assigned to assist with overhaul on the "C" side of the structure. After overhaul was completed units were released from the scene. Engine 643 returned to service....
