M/A Structure Fire

MFFD, July 28

At approximately 18:00 hours crews responded to assist Ellis FD on a possible structure fire. Spencer Chief 7500 arrived on the scene with a single story structure with smoke showing. Engine 751 (Spencer) arrived on the scene and stretched 2 lines. Ellis Engine 481 arrived on the scene and laid a water supply. No Caption Crews respond to assist on drowning

MFFD, July 12

Miller's Ferry crews were dispatched to assist Liberty FD and Rowan Rescue on a possible drowning. Miller's Ferry personnel responded with Fire Boat 34 and Dive trailer 34. Once arriving on the scene Fire Boat 34 utilized the side sonar to assist with locating the victim. Once crews were able to locate a good image of the victim the dive team members entered the water. It's easy to think that sparklers and firecrackers are safe because they are sold in supermarkets, but in many cases it's these small consumer fireworks that start fires and cause serious burn injuries.
